Outdure Academy — Verified Installer Programme Terms
Document ID: ACADEMY-PUB-09 · Version: 2026.09.1 · Effective: 7 September 2026 · Provider: Outdure International Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability · Registered office: available from academy@outdure.com on request · Contact: academy@outdure.com
These terms govern the Verified level of Outdure Academy: how you apply, what we review, what we record, what the status gives you, what it does not, and how it ends. They sit under the Academy Participation Terms and alongside the Academy Tier Definitions and Criteria, the Academy Verified Badge Use and Representation Standard, the Academy Directory Listing Terms, the Academy Lead Routing Terms and the Academy Assessment and Revocation Policy.
1. What "Verified" means, stated once and plainly
Verified means we reviewed documentation for two or more of your completed installations against our published installation instructions and found, on that documentation, that they conformed. It is not an endorsement of your business, a guarantee of your future work, or confirmation of your licensing or insurance.
That sentence is the whole of the representation. Wherever the Verified badge appears, that sentence appears with it or is one click away.
2. Eligibility
2.1 To apply you must hold Trained status on the current course version, and have no unresolved remediation flag.
2.2 There is no fee of any kind for applying, obtaining, holding or renewing Verified status, and no purchase requirement. See section 7 of the Participation Terms.
3. What you submit
3.1 Documentation for two or more completed installations of our systems, each including: the installation date and general location; the product and configuration installed; photographs sufficient to show the elements our installation instructions address; and the installation record we ask for at the time.
3.2 Confirmation of who carried out the work, and that you have the property owner's agreement to give us the photographs. Handling of what you submit is described in the Academy Learner Privacy Notice.
3.3 We may ask you to confirm that you hold public liability insurance. We do not verify, monitor or guarantee any installer's insurance, and we never state or imply to anyone that you are insured. Anyone engaging you should ask to see your certificate themselves.
4. What we review — and what we do not
4.1 We review the documentation you submit against the version of our published installation instructions that was current at the time of that installation.
4.2 We do not attend the site, inspect the installation, test anything, check the structure the installation sits on, assess local building-code compliance, or check whether the work was consented, permitted or inspected. We do not check whether your business is solvent, reputable, insured, licensed or well run, and we do not form or express a view about it.
4.3 A documentation review is not a site inspection, a safety audit, a quality-assurance function or a sign-off. It creates no duty on us to supervise, inspect or approve anything you do, then or later.
5. The record we keep
For every grant we record: who reviewed which installation; the date of the review; which version of the installation instructions it was reviewed against; what evidence was reviewed; the outcome; who granted the status and when; and any remediation flag and its resolution. Status changes are recorded as an append-only history, not by overwriting. If we cannot record those things, we do not grant the status.
6. What Verified status gives you
6.1 The right to describe yourself accurately as a Verified installer for Outdure systems, and a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable permission to display the Academy Verified badge, under the Academy Verified Badge Use and Representation Standard.
6.2 A listing in the public installer directory if you ask for one — see the Academy Directory Listing Terms.
6.3 Enquiries passed on from people looking for an installer in your area — see the Academy Lead Routing Terms. Being passed an enquiry is not an offer of work, a promise of any volume of enquiries, or an appointment of you to do anything on our behalf.
6.4 No promotional labour benefit is offered at general availability.
6.5 Nothing else. In particular, Verified status gives you no right to buy from us, no pricing, no territory, no exclusivity, no minimum volume of work and no priority in supply.
7. What Verified status is not
7.1 It is not a professional licence, certification, accreditation or qualification, and no accrediting or licensing body sits behind it.
7.2 It is not a check of, or a statement about, your business.
7.3 It is not confirmation that you are insured, bonded or licensed.
7.4 It is not ongoing monitoring. It is a review of specific past documentation at a point in time.
7.5 It is not a guarantee, warranty or prediction about any installation you do afterwards.
7.6 It is not supervision, direction, scheduling or control of your work by us, and it does not make you our employee, agent, representative, franchisee, partner, joint venturer or subcontractor. You contract with your own customers directly, on your own terms, at your own price. We are not a party to those contracts and do not guarantee your performance of them.
7.7 Any product warranty, and the conditions on which it applies, are governed by the applicable QwickBuild warranty terms; holding this status does not by itself approve an installation, establish compliance, or guarantee a warranty claim.
8. Your obligations while you hold the status
8.1 Install in accordance with our current published installation instructions, and hold and maintain whatever trade licences, registrations and insurances your own jurisdiction requires.
8.2 Describe your status only as the Tier Definitions and the Badge Standard permit, and never as certified, accredited, qualified, licensed, approved, authorised, vetted or endorsed.
8.3 Never say or imply that using you changes a customer's warranty rights, or that we stand behind, supervise or guarantee your work.
8.4 Tell us promptly if you lose a trade licence or registration the law requires for the work, or if an installation you submitted for review turns out not to be as documented.
8.5 Co-operate reasonably with a remediation review of a specific installation.
9. Continuing conditions, and how the status ends
9.1 Having no unresolved remediation flag is a continuing condition, not a one-off gate.
9.2 Verified status may be suspended, downgraded or revoked only on a ground in, and by the process set out in, the Academy Assessment and Revocation Policy — which gives you written notice with reasons, at least 14 days to reply, a decision by someone who did not investigate, written reasons, and an appeal to someone not involved in the original decision.
9.3 A material product or instruction change may cause a conditional lapse for the changed component only, until you complete the updated module. That is not a revocation.
9.4 On the status ending, your directory listing is removed and you must stop using the badge and the status description within 30 days, everywhere you use them.
10. If we get it wrong
If you think we have described your status inaccurately anywhere, or that something we have published about you is wrong, tell us at academy@outdure.com and we will correct it.
Governing law and disputes are set out in the Academy Jurisdiction Overlays, which apply to this document as if set out in it in full.
