Outdure Academy — Installer Directory Listing Terms
Document ID: ACADEMY-PUB-11 · Version: 2026.09.1 · Effective: 7 September 2026 · Provider: Outdure International Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability · Registered office: available from academy@outdure.com on request · Contact: academy@outdure.com
These terms apply to the public Outdure installer directory — both to installers who ask to be listed and to members of the public who use it.
Part A — For people using the directory
A1. What the directory is
The directory is a searchable list of independent businesses that hold an Outdure Academy status and have asked to be listed. It is a starting point for your own enquiries. It is not a recommendation, a shortlist we have made for you, or a vetting service.
A2. What a listing does and does not tell you
A2.1 A listing tells you that the business, or a named individual in it, holds the Academy status shown, and what that status means. The meaning of each status is set out in the Academy Tier Definitions and Criteria, and the Verified status specifically means:
we reviewed documentation for two or more of that installer's completed installations against our published installation instructions and found, on that documentation, that they conformed. It is not an endorsement of their business, a guarantee of their future work, or confirmation of their licensing or insurance.
A2.2 A listing does not tell you that the business is licensed, registered, bonded or insured; that it is solvent, reputable or well run; that we have inspected any site or any current work; that we monitor it; that we recommend it over anyone else; or that we stand behind, guarantee or supervise what it does.
A2.3 We do not check a listed business's licensing, registration, insurance, financial standing, employment practices, references or customer history, and we do not hold ourselves out as doing so.
A3. What you should do
Ask a listed installer for their licence or registration details, ask to see their insurance certificate, ask for references, and get a written quotation. Satisfy yourself independently before you engage anyone.
A4. How results are ordered
A4.1 Directory results are ordered on a stated, objective basis: proximity to the location you search, the Academy status held, and whether the installer has indicated current availability. The ordering basis is displayed on the results page.
A4.2 We do not sell placement. No installer can pay us for a listing, for a better position, for a "featured" position or for a priority position — there is no paid tier in the directory, and no money passes from a listed installer to us for anything.
A5. Your contract is with the installer, not with us
Every business in the directory is an independent business — not our employee, agent, representative, franchisee, partner or subcontractor. If you engage one, you contract with them directly, on their terms and at their price. We are not a party to that contract, we do not guarantee their performance of it, we take no payment for the work and no commission or referral fee, and we do not manage, schedule, supervise or inspect the work. A dispute about the work is between you and the installer. A claim about our product under a product warranty is a separate matter, dealt with under that warranty's own terms.
A6. Product warranty is governed by its own terms
Any product warranty, and the conditions on which it applies, is governed by the applicable QwickBuild warranty terms. This directory is a starting point for your own enquiries; choosing a listed installer does not by itself determine or guarantee any warranty outcome.
A7. Accuracy, and telling us about a problem
A7.1 Listing information is supplied by the installer. We publish the status we granted, but we do not independently verify the rest of an installer's listing content.
A7.2 If a listing is wrong, out of date, or if you have a concern about a listed installer, tell us at academy@outdure.com. We will look into it, we will act where a ground under the Academy Assessment and Revocation Policy is made out, and we record what we did — including where we decide no action is needed, and why.
Part B — For installers who are listed
B1. Getting listed
B1.1 A listing is available on request to an installer holding Verified status, and is optional. It is free. There is no listing fee, renewal fee, membership fee or placement fee, and no minimum purchase — see section 7 of the Participation Terms.
B1.2 You choose whether to be listed and can ask to be removed at any time, by writing to academy@outdure.com. We will remove the listing promptly.
B2. What we publish
B2.1 Only what you give us for publication, together with the status we granted and its date. Typically: business name, service area, a contact route, the type of work you do, and the status badge with its scope line.
B2.2 You are responsible for the accuracy of what you give us and for keeping it current. Do not give us a customer's personal information, or a photograph of a customer's property, without that customer's agreement.
B2.3 Your listing must not contain a prohibited term under the Academy Verified Badge Use and Representation Standard, must not describe you as certified, accredited, qualified, licensed, approved, authorised, vetted or endorsed, and must not suggest that you are us, act for us, or that we guarantee or supervise your work.
B3. What a listing is not
A listing is not an appointment, an agency, an authorisation to act for us, a dealership, a distributorship, a franchise, a territory, an exclusivity, or a promise of any volume of enquiries or work. It does not entitle you to buy from us or to any pricing.
B4. Removal
B4.1 Your listing is removed if you ask, if your Academy status ends or is suspended, or on a ground under the Academy Assessment and Revocation Policy — with the notice, right of reply and appeal that policy provides. Where a listing is removed for a safety or fraud reason, it may be removed immediately under the interim-suspension rule, with the process following straight away.
B4.2 On removal you must stop using the badge and the status description within 30 days.
B4.3 We may take a listing down immediately, without that being a finding against you, where the listing itself contains something inaccurate or unlawful, and we will tell you why and let you correct it.
Governing law and disputes are set out in the Academy Jurisdiction Overlays, which apply to this document as if set out in it in full. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under the law of your own country that cannot lawfully be excluded, including a consumer guarantee.
